Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. What we collect

Our tools (number converter, divide-a-trillion) run entirely in your browser. We do not see, store, or transmit anything you type into them.

2. How we use it

3. Newsletter consent

Every signup form includes an explicit consent checkbox. You consent to receiving the weekly newsletter when you tick it and submit. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email; unsubscribes are honored promptly. We never add addresses without consent and never share your email with third parties for marketing.

4. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies: strictly necessary ones for the site to function, and analytics cookies as described above. If we add advertising cookies in the future, this policy will be updated and consent re-requested where required by law.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the site (hosting, email delivery, analytics), each bound to use it only for that purpose.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@itrillion.com. We respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete; contact us to exercise them.

7. Data security & retention

We use HTTPS sitewide and limit access to personal data. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted from active mailing lists within 30 days. Analytics data is aggregated and retained for up to 26 months.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be noted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Contact

Privacy questions: hello@itrillion.com.

Template note: this policy covers the standard requirements for a US educational publication with newsletter and analytics. Have counsel review before launch, especially if you add advertising cookies, serve EU/UK visitors at scale (GDPR), or collect any data beyond what's described here. This is not legal advice.
